Ingredients:
2/3 cups shortening
4 eggs
2 and 2/3 cup sugar
2/3 cup water
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 Tbsp. soda
2 cups type of bread***
2/3 cups nuts
1/2 tsp salt
3 and 1/3 cup flour

2 cups apples cut up or shredded & 1/4 cup pineapple
2 cup pumpkin
1 and 3/4 cup mashed bananas & 1/4 cup orange marmalade
1 cup chopped apples & 1 cup shredded carrots
1 and 3/4 cup applesauce & 1/4 cup raisins
2 cups chopped apples
2 cups raw grated cranberries
2 cups applesauce
2 cups shredded zucchini
2 cups mashed bananas
2 cups shredded carrots
1 and 3/4 mashed bananas & 1/4 cup pineapple
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar together. Add eggs and whatever kind of bread you want to bake***.Mix dry ingredients and nuts. Add to creamed mixture. Fill greased wide mouth pint jars 1/2 full of batter. Sit jars in oven and bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes and no longer! Remove from oven one jar at a time. Make sure the tops of the jars are clean and grease free. Have lids and rings in boiling water. Remove and place on jar tops, seal tight, and turn jars upside down to cool.
