Ingredients:
3 cups cake flour (sifted and resifted) and add 1 tsp. baking powder
1 and 1/4 cup Crisco
2 and 1/2 cup sugar
5 eggs
1 cup milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. lemon extract
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar together. Add eggs one at a time. Add flour alternately with milk. Then add flavoring. Pour into a well-greased and dusted with flour tube cake pan. Bake 1 hour and 10 minutes at 300 degrees.
