Ingredients (For Cake):
1 stick margarine
1 cup sugar
4 eggs
1 cup self-rising flour
1 can Hershey Chocolate syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
Directions:
Cream margarine and sugar, then add 4 eggs, one at a time. Mix 1 cup self-rising flour in slowly. Add 1 large can of Hershey's Chocolate syrup and 1 tsp vanilla. Pour into greased oblong pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Ingredients (For Icing):
1 stick margarine
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup of evaporated milk (undiluted)
chocolate chips
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Directions:
Mix and bring to a boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add 1/2 cup chocolate chips and heat until consistency to spread on cake. You may use 1 cup of chopped nuts if desired.
