Ingredients:
1 and 1/2 cups of sugar
4 Tbsp. corn starch
1 Tbsp flour
1 and 1/2 cup boiling water
3 eggs, separated
1 lemon (juice and rind)
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients together in a thick pan adding boiling water. Place over hot eye, stirring until becomes thick. Beat egg yolk, add about 1 cup of hot mixture to the eggs, then return it all back to the pan. Cook until it is very thick adding to the lemon. Put into a baked pie shell. Top with meringue and brown.
