Diane Honeycutt
Ingredients:
1 cup sugar
2 Tbsp. sifted cocoa
3 Tbsp. sifted flour
2 egg yolks
1 and 1/2 cup evaporated milk (1 can)
8" frozen regular pie shell
Meringue Ingredients
2 egg whites
4 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Directions:
Pre-bake pie shell according to instructions on package. Mix sugar, egg yolks, flour, and cocoa together. Add milk. Bring to a slow boil. Continue stirring so it won't stick. When it is thick, pour into pre-baked pie shell. Top with meringue and brown at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes.
Meringue: Beat egg whites until stiff. Add sugar and vanilla and beat well.
