Frances Gibbs
Ingredients:
1 cup yellow plain cornmeal
1 tsp salt
1 cup water
Directions:
Mix together and fry in hot oil (1/2 inches deep in pan). Drop with tsp. in grease and use a spoon to spread out. Cook to desired doneness (soft or hard).
"I use House of Autry Stone Ground cornmeal. You may want to use less salt if you don't like much salt. I made the cornbread last night after cooking fish. You can use fish oil if you want. It was soo good."
